Canada-based handheld ultrasound systems provider Clarius Mobile Health has introduced new advancements, including enterprise software to manage Clarius’ ultrasound scanners.
The advancements also feature AI-powered capabilities and built-in CPT medical codes to streamline billing and reimbursement processes in the US.
Clarius offers a range of AI-powered speciality ultrasound scanners designed to deliver high-definition imaging for diverse clinical applications.
The devices provide imaging quality that matches the traditional cart-based systems at a fraction of the cost.
Also, the Clarius 12.0 App for iOS and Android devices bring enhanced capabilities customised for clinicians across various specialities.

T-Mode is an ultrasound learning tool for new users and provides real-time guidance with AI-powered coloured and textured anatomical overlays to enhance greyscale images.
The company is offering the T-Mode tool for rotator cuff to support physiotherapists and sports medicine physicians in their ultrasound learning.
Its Clarius App 12.0 simplifies billing and reimbursements by allowing clinicians billing for MSK, urology and women’s health exams, to easily select the right CPT code from the app.
The new A-Mode enables ophthalmologists to measure the axial length of the eye, for diagnosis and monitoring of conditions and evaluating retinal and choroidal pathologies.
Clarius said its ultrasound scanners provide preconfigured settings, particularly customised for ophthalmic practice, and enable optimal image clarity with minimal adjustments.
The company has introduced a new protocol to reduce interruptions during patient consults for aesthetic procedures, which helps clinicians easily change settings to optimise scans.
Furthermore, the Clarius App features a 12-field lung assessment that provides scoring from 0-3 and a cumulative total provided to support clinical decision-making at the point of care.
