This year’s edition features an improved hall layout designed to better integrate the trade fair and accompanying programs. The German Hospital Conference, a key event for top clinic managers, has been relocated to Hall 12, placing it at the heart of the exhibition. Meanwhile, Hall 13 will house the “Digital Health” experience world, which will include themed stage programs and high-traffic special exhibitions. These changes aim to create thematic synergies and improve accessibility for attendees.
At MEDICA 2024, innovations will be presented across five key areas: Lab & Diagnostics, Med Tech & Devices, Disposables, Physio Tech, and Digital Health. In parallel, COMPAMED 2024 will focus on high-tech solutions in Manufacturing & Devices, Services & Advice, Materials, Micro Tech, and IT in Tech.
The events will address current industry trends through various forums and conferences. Topics of discussion will include AI applications in medical practice, robotics and assistive systems, healthcare connectivity, and telemedical applications. Additionally, solutions for the skilled professional shortage will be a significant focus. Key forums such as the MEDICA HEALTH IT FORUM and the MEDICA INNOVATION FORUM, which replaces the former CONNECTED HEALTHCARE FORUM, will facilitate these discussions. COMPAMED will also feature the HIGH-TECH FORUM and SUPPLIERS FORUM, reflecting the latest issues in the supply sector.
To enhance digital engagement, a new video podcast titled “Trade Talk Today” will provide daily updates and insights throughout the event. This podcast will be accessible via the MEDICA.de and COMPAMED.de portals.
