Medit and Pearl have announced a collaboration to merge the latter’s AI diagnostic capabilities with the Medit Link platform.
This integration aims to enhance intraoral scanning by combining Medit’s precise imaging technology with Pearl’s AI expertise. The partnership is set to improve diagnostic accuracy in dental practices and facilitate more effective communication with patients about their oral health conditions.

The Medit Link platform serves as a centralised system for dental clinics and laboratories, designed to streamline digital workflows, from intraoral scanning to patient communication.
With Pearl’s AI-powered diagnostics, dental professionals can now identify oral conditions such as teeth misalignment, cracks, calculus, and discolouration more efficiently. This integration promises to standardise diagnostic processes, boosting patient confidence and encouraging necessary treatments to improve oral health.

Separately, Medit has launched its latest innovation, Medit SmartX, an All-on-X solution aimed at implant clinicians. This solution is designed to integrate with various implant scan bodies, allowing users to verify implant positions without requiring additional equipment.
Medit SmartX can be seamlessly incorporated into existing setups, providing flexibility by enabling the use of preferred scan bodies like Scan Ladder and Smart Flag.
The Medit SmartX features user-friendly operation suitable for both beginners and experienced professionals, ensuring seamless digital integration and efficient workflows.
It is compatible with Medit’s range of scanners, including the i900 Family, i700w, i700, and i600 models.
The solution offers real-time library alignment and occlusion adjustment options based on prosthetic types, aiming to deliver high precision and predictable outcomes for All-on-X prostheses.
