China-based medical technology company Mindray has expanded its office-based ultrasound devices portfolio with the launch of new Consona-Series ultrasound machines.

The Consona-Series comprises two new imaging solutions, the Consona N9 ultrasound machine and the Consona N6 Ultrasound Machine.

Mindray designed the console-based ultrasound systems using its in-house developed beamformer Zone Sonography Technology+ (ZST+) software.

The systems enhance image quality and ergonomics, helping clinicians increase throughput, shorten exam times, and simplify workflow across diverse clinical settings.

The new Consona-Series will address the needs of women’s health, radiology, and cardiovascular departments, said Mindray.

Mindray North America private office ultrasound marketing manager Tracy Mingione said: “Our new ultrasound solutions for private office care represent a new standard in image quality and ultrasound ergonomics, designed to meet the growing demands of patients and clinicians alike.

“By collaborating closely with customers and strategic partners, we’ve developed a platform that mirrors the performance and efficiency found in hospital settings with cost-effective pricing.

“This innovation not only bridges the gap between hospital and private office ultrasound imaging but also equips clinicians with cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional patient care.”

Mindray said the Consona-Series comes with meaningful ergonomic enhancements.

It features a customisable gesture-powered touchscreen and a fully adjustable floating control panel, which enable easy and effective workflow and intuitive operation.

The Consona N9 and N6 ultrasound systems, both are supported by a five-year warranty and Mindray’s exclusive Living Technology promise.

Customers can easily upgrade the software enhancements to keep their ultrasound machines updated throughout their life cycle.

Furthermore, the launch of the Consona-Series will advance medical technologies, make healthcare more accessible, and deliver high-quality patient care, said the company.
