The market for 3D-printed medical implants is projected to grow to nearly $5.6 billion by 2030 – more than 20 times the sales revenue in 2015. Evonik is poised to meet this explosion in demand with the world’s first implant-grade polyether ether ketone (PEEK) products for everything from artificial skull components to spinal discs and new sections of bone for replacing cancerous tissue.
